There's a good chance that Sarah Michelle Gellar will not be around if the UPN series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" goes into an eighth season. Could that mean that Eliza Dushku -- the ever-so-famous slayer Faith -- might be taking over?

The Hollywood Reporter said in a recent issue that Dushku will return as Faith in the final five episodes of "Buffy" this season as well as three episodes of spinoff series "Angel" on The WB.

Dushku has been very busy with films as of late, but somehow she's been able to find the time to come back and revive her character. Faith first appeared in 1998, continuing through 2000, before moving over to do some episodes in the early part of "Angel's" run.

"Buffy" premieres on UPN Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET while "Angel" premieres Oct. 6 at 9 p.m. on The WB.
