This week comes the game that "Dead Space" fans have been waiting too long for.

"Dead Space: Extraction" hits gaming stores Sept. 29 designed specifically for the Nintento Wii as a first-person rail-shooter that gives some excellent backstory to the 2008 game that was originally designed for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and even PCs.

In "Extraction," space colonists from the Aegis VII colony find themselves fighting the infection of Necromorphs -- a nasty alien race -- that was a staple of the original game released last year.

It's your job, using your Wii, to try and stop the inevitable from happening, but can you do it?

"Dead Space: Extraction" is the newest offering from Visceral Games, formerly known as EA Redwood Shores, as well as Eurocom, and has been under official development since February.
