What does NBC have in store for "Heroes" this season?

Well, we know all about the carnival, the new role of Sylar (Zachary Quinto) not only taking the form of one of our beloved characters, but also haunting yet another one (a certain mind-reading cop) in his dreams.

The biggest question is will audiences give "Heroes" one last chance? That's something that has been asked since the show was picked up for a fourth season earlier this year, and one that we won't even begin to know the answer to until the show premieres Sept. 21.

There will be far fewer episodes of "Heroes" this season compared to previous years, thanks to a combination of an ongoing economic recession as well as the fact that viewers have not been turning out for the show in the past. But creator Tim Kring says Season 4 is better than ever, so it's at least worth a shot.

And here, Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) learns a new ability.
